Senior Structural Engineer

Searson Buck are searching for an experienced Structural Engineer for southern based permanent fulltime role.

Key to this role is your ability to provide engineering solutions for any necessary fortifications and compliance requirements of current infrastructure assets and review of future asset builds.

In this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Investigate structural failures thoroughly, examining components and materials closely.
• Offer technical expertise to Project, Production, and Maintenance teams as needed.
• Ensure operations meet regulatory requirements and internal standards for quality and safety.
• Develop effective remediation plans for structural issues as part of our asset integrity program.
• Maintain consistent structural standards across projects within the organization.
• Assess and enhance the integrity of structures at our smelter for durability and safety.
• Improve structural performance by integrating new technologies and enhancements.
• Assist with drafting, ensuring engineering designs meet high standards and are communicated effectively.
• Manage structural engineering requests to align with organizational goals.
• Provide technical advice during incident investigations and budget planning.
• Review consultant engineers' work to ensure it meets organizational standards.
• Prepare clear reports for internal decision-making and regulatory compliance.
• Foster stakeholder relationships through effective communication and collaboration, delivering value to the business.
