Searson Buck is seeking professionals in the Human Resources field, who possess relevant experience and are interested in joining our pool of candidates. Our company works with both private and government sectors.


The opportunities are typically located in the Hobart CBD or surrounding areas. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in a HR field who are eager to explore new opportunities.



About you:

  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You are proficient in technology systems and can quickly learn new ones.
  • You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • You have a minimum of one year of relevant experience in the HR field.
  • You have great customer service skills.

Main Duties:

  • Undertake the accurate, confidential, efficient and effective processing of recruitment, selection, probation, vacancy control, staffing, transfer, job design and maintain confidential, accurate and up to date records.
  • Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees
  • Developing programmes that enhance employee relations
  • Ensuring employees have correct pay and benefits
  • Delivering compensation and benefit comparison reports to the executive team
  • Promoting equality, health and safety within the company
  • Ensuring that company employment policies follow national laws and regulations
  • Advising executives on matters of salaries, redundancy and employment law
  • Recording and processing confidential information
  • Liaise and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders in relation to recruitment and employment matters to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
