Searson Buck is partnering with an Australian engineering company to recruit for several positions, including a new HR Assistant role.

About the Role:

The HR Assistant is responsible for supporting the HR Manager in the daily operations and administrative functions of the Human Resource and Quality Management divisions. This role will initially be on a part-time basis but has the potential to expand to a full-time workload and has the flexibility to work from home.

Key Duties:

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating onboarding, orientation activities, and induction packages.

- Maintain employee records and training databases, such as the maintenance of the QMS in accordance with established procedures, including scheduling and organising internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS standards.

- Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and improve processes.

- Assist in the preparation of internal communications and reporting, and administrative documentation management.

About You:

We're seeking someone who is:

- Detail-oriented, organised, and methodical in their processes.

- Confidential in their engagements and able to communicate across a diverse set of mediums.

- Confident to speak up and present new ideas on business practices.

- Experienced in an administrative, HR, or quality management role, or passionate to learn and acquire knowledge.
